FERMENT 21, also called Seacret Broth, is the patented bio-fermented mineral complex in SEACRET face care. FERMENT 21 is made by fermenting Dunaliella salina, a microalga that grows in very salty water, with Dead Sea salt (Maris Sal) and a yeast ferment. SEACRET uses FERMENT 21 only in face care, mainly the Bio Skin Glow and Bio Skin Hydration lines. The ingredient list on each product page shows whether a formula contains it.

Dead Sea water is a rare magnesium and calcium chloride mineral brine, unlike ordinary sodium-heavy sea salt (Ma'or, 2006; Momani, 2009).
